Posterior Lateral Occipital Support Headrest (P.L.O.S.H.)

The P.L.O.S.H. is available in three sizes and is designed to provide both lateral and occipital support. The lateral support can be varied by bending the headrest to provide the fit and support desired. The occipital support area can be adjusted by changing the underlying foam layers. The headrest has #10-32 threaded inserts which permit you to attach a forehead strap (not supplied). The pad is constructed of 14ga stainless steel for a rigid yet formable underlying structure. There are mounting holes on 1" centers on the rear of the pad and have #10-32 fasteners in them. The front of the metal is covered with a 3/8" layer of closed cell foam and the occipital support area is shaped using layers of 3/8" closed cell foam. The rear is covered with a 1/8" layer of dense neoprene foam. The pad is then covered with a black neoprene backed spandex upholstery. For dimensions, see kit information.
