Head-Support Adjustable Wing Collar (H.A.W.C.)

The HAWC is designed to provide support at the occiput to promote capital flexion and at the mandibles to limit lateral head tilt. This positioning device is not designed as a Rigid Anterior Trunk Support. The anterior wings of the collar can be rotated medial/lateral by up to 30° to better align with the mandibles. The tension on the rotating anterior wings can be tightened to restrict movement but not to prevent movement. The standard thickness HAWC pads have snap fasteners to easily attach the optional Chin Roll (Chin Roll cannot be used with "Thin" sizes). Kits include mounting fasteners.
